two years ago a partnership with a now-defunct asian dating app (rip 👀) inspired us to create mahjong speedfriending — our way of inspiring mahjong friend meetcutes, complete with our original “musical chairs mahjong” twist — and it quickly become one of your all-time favorite events.

this event is specially designed to encourage maximum FRIEND meets with people you might not've otherwise met in this big ole city. it is *not* for dating (aka don't be weird). what to expect:

*your ticket only includes 2 tasting glasses of sake. anyone attempting to game the system for more glasses will be promptly asked to leave.
